Cigar description
The Forrader line honors Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher of Prussia. Renowned for his fiery personality and aggressive approach in battle he was nicknamed Marschall Vorwärts ("Marshal Forward") by his soldiers. He was also renowned as always carrying his beloved pipe into battle. As veteran of many battles during the Napoleonic period he won everlasting fame for his actions in helping to save the day, at the age of 71, at the battle of Waterloo.
Blended for Casdagli Cigars by Hendrik Kelner Jr at the KBF factory. The fillers consist of rare tobacco from Zimbabwe which when combined with the fillers from the USA and Dominican Republic lead to a deceptive strength delivering dark chocolate and espresso notes to the palate. The wrapper and binder are from Ecuador and the Dominican Republic respectively. Both the Robusto and Piramide are fill bodied with a medium to full strength.
