Daughters of the Wind Line

"Our most famous race horse was named Bint Bint Durra of the rare Dahman breed. Hence the "Dahman" cigar was born accompanied by other cigars named after the various colors that adorned this famous breed."

Jeremy Casdagli

In the early 1900s the sons of Emmanuel, Demetrius and Alexander Casdagli purchased the Sheykh Obeyd stables just outside Cairo and became celebrated breeders of Arabian race horses. Together they won big races.

The Arabian race horses are famed for their strength, elegance and refinement. We wanted to celebrate this with the launching of a small production of cigars with these attributes. “The Daughters of the Wind” is a famous Arabian poem written in the 6th century inspired by the beauty of Bedouin horses.

The cigars of the Daughters of the Wind Line are handcrafted in Costa Rica at the exclusive boutique factory in San Jose These are truly unique cigars combining rare tobaccos from Peru, Dominican Republic and Ecuador along with the tobaccos from the factory’s own plantation in the mountains of Costa Rica. These full bodied yet complex cigars deliver rich, sweet and spicy notes to the palate.
